WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), chairman of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, this week announced Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) will serve as the chairman of the Clean Air and Nuclear Safety Subcommittee. The subcommittee oversees EPA regulations established under the Clean Air Act, including rules to curb carbon emissions from coal-fired power plants.
