CHARLESTON, W.Va. – U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) issued the following statement in observance of the Easter celebration on Sunday:
“Easter is a time of reflection and rebirth, a season of renewed faith and optimism. I invite West Virginians to pray this Easter—for our country, for those serving faithfully overseas, for our state, and for our neighbors. My prayer is that as we remember Christ’s sacrifice and love for us, our actions and words reflect Him. Charlie and I wish you and your family a joyous and happy Easter.”
