WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senators Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) and Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), members of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced $3,881,164 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for Head Start programs throughout Central West Virginia and Greenbrier County.

“Head Start programs help ensure young West Virginians have a strong foundation to begin grade school. Our students today are the future of our state, and they deserve every available resource to ensure their success.
