Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) today issued the following statement regarding the Obamacare repeal bill being considered in the Senate this week.
“Later this week the Senate will consider a bill to repeal Obamacare, an expensive disaster that has cost countless Americans access to their doctor and access to the health care plan of their choice.
“This bill will repeal significant portions of the health care law that are not working, like the enforcement for the individual and employer mandates, and will relieve onerous taxes. It will also provide a bridge to replace this law with an improved health care system that strengthens Medicare and will dedicate resources to fight the growing drug epidemic.”
