WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) released the following statement regarding the death of coal miner Rodney Osborne:
“My heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends of Rodney Osborne who lost his life on Tuesday in a Boone County mine. West Virginia coal miners like Rodney selflessly put so much on the line to provide for their families and power our state. I’ve always said that West Virginia is like one big small town, where we are known to help each other in times of need. Today is one of those days. During this difficult time, I ask all West Virginians keep the Osbornes in your thoughts and prayers.”
