WASHINGTON, D.C. – This week, U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) voted to confirm four of President Trump’s well-qualified judicial nominees to the Federal Circuit Courts: Amy Barrett to the Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit; Stephanos Bibas for the Third Circuit; Allison Eid for the Tenth Circuit; and Joan Larsen for the Sixth Circuit.

“I was proud to cast my votes for four well-qualified individuals nominated by President Trump, including three women, who have demonstrated a strong understanding of the proper role a judge plays in our constitutional system and will serve our country for years in the judiciary,” said Senator Capito. “I am confident these judges will decide cases fairly based on our Constitution and the law, not based on personal beliefs.”

Earlier this week, Senator Capito urged her Democratic colleagues to drop their de facto filibuster against virtually every one of President Trump’s judicial nominees. Watch her floor speech here
