CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Today, U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) visited Kanawha Valley Senior Services (KVSS) in Charleston, W.Va. where she toured the facility and met with the KVSS management team and seniors. During the visit, Senator Capito had the chance to learn more about the health and nutrition programs offered at the facility, including Meals on Wheels. The visit comes during “Meals on Wheels America Network’s Community Champion’s Week.”
“I was glad to visit Kanawha Valley Senior Services during Meals on Wheels America’s Community Champions Week to see firsthand the incredible work they do for our seniors. The dedication of KVSS and its volunteers is truly inspiring, and I will continue doing what I can in the Senate to support their mission and help our seniors live independently and with dignity,” Senator Capito said.
