CHARLESTON, W.Va. – U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) today released a video statement ahead of Independence Day on July 4.

“I always look forward to the Fourth of July, especially in West Virginia. It's a great time for us to gather with our families to remember our communities and remember our great nation to celebrate the birth of an incredible nation, the United States of America.
“So as you gather together and have your barbecues and watch the parades and wave the flags, just remember that the United States is a precious, precious place to live and we are honored to be citizens to be able to live here.
“So have a Happy Fourth!”
