U.S. Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va., addressed the media to discuss several topics dealing with the conflict in Iran.
Capito said she fully supports the Trump administration's efforts to prevent Iran from gaining nuclear power, despite not getting approval from Congress. The senator also said she does not support efforts in Washington to limit the president's power during this time.
Capito offered condolences to the Americans lost in the strikes and hopes more casualties don't happen.
Congress is expected to vote this week on a war powers resolution restricting American actions in Iran, which if passed, she said would be "devastating."
