Capito Statement on the Death of Ranson Mayor David Hamill
CHARLESTON, W.Va. – U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) issued the following statement in memory of David Hamill, the Mayor of Ranson, who passed away last night after a long battle with cancer:
“David’s work always reflected his dedication to Ranson and its residents, and I was lucky to call him a friend. With his innovative spirit and sense of humor, David admirably led his community during a time of tremendous growth and leaves behind a legacy of community service. My thoughts and prayers are with David’s wife, Helen, and his family during this sad time.”
